Mobile Children’s Museum Naming Contest!
Come up with a name for the Mobile Children’s Museum that reflects the project’s vision and values and represents the culture and identity of Southern New Mexico and Doña Ana County. A select number of finalists will be chosen after the submission period, and then the community will vote on the name that they like the best. One winner will win a $100 visa gift card and the privilege of naming the first children’s museum in Doña Ana county.

General Description
The Mobile Children’s Museum Naming Contest is supported by Ngage New Mexico (Ngage) and is facilitated by Ngage and the Children’s Museum Committee.
Individuals and groups are encouraged to come up with a name for the emerging mobile children’s museum. The name and form information must be submitted electronically (see the Contest Submission Page). The title should reflect the museum project’s vision and values and represent the cultural identity of southern New Mexico and Doña ana County.
All entries must be submitted to the SUCCESS Partnership website (see the Contest Submission Page) by October 21st, 2020, at 11:59 pm MST to be eligible to enter the contest. A review committee will evaluate each submission and will select five (5), finalists. The public will vote on the five finalists, and The Grand Prize winner (winning a $100 Visa gift card) will be notified via email and phone after the voting ends.

Eligibility
A. The contest is open to all individuals and groups. If under 18 years old, parent/guardian permission is required.
B. All information on the entry form must consist solely of the original work of the individual that submits the entry.

Naming
A. Your entry must be submitted digitally.
B. Your entry may not contain profanity.
C. If Ngage New Mexico, the Children’s Museum Committee, or contest review sub-committee deems the entry’s content inappropriate, the entry may be disqualified from the contest.

Contest Entry and Submission
A. Visit SUCCESSDAC.org to complete the contest entry form.
B. Only one entry is allowed per person.
C. Entries must be submitted between October 7th, 2020 and October 21st, 2020 11:59 MST
D. Verify the email address and phone number on the entry form before submitting it. Ngage will use this email address to contact you.
E. The contest entry will have been officially submitted when a confirmation page appears. Questions concerning submission can be emailed to info@NgageNM.org

Selection of Winners
A. A committee of judges from the Children’s Museum Committee will evaluate entries in a blind review based on the name’s relevance to the project’s vision and values. The committee will select up to five finalists.
B. The public will vote on the five finalists, and the one with the most votes will be the grand prize winner.
C. Winner will be notified via phone and email (using the information provided in the contest entry).
D. Winner will be featured on the SUCCESS Partnership and Ngage New Mexico Facebook pages and social media. The winner would be asked to participate in a brief interview.

Prizes
A. Prizes will be awarded as follows:
B. One Grand Prize winner will be selected and will:
i. Receive A $100 Visa Gift Card.
ii. Be featured on the SUCCESS Partnership and Ngage NM Facebook page.
iii. Have the name submitted in their winning entry be the Mobile Children’s Museum’s name.

C. The Grand Prize winner must submit required contest documentation forms before prizes can be officially awarded. These forms will be emailed to the winners in the winner notification email. Forms include:
a. A W-9 form is requiring a Social Security number.
b. A Release Form giving the Take Charge America Institute the permission to use the individual’s name on their websites (including Consumer Jungle).

c. All forms must be received by December 9th, 2020, or the individual will be disqualified from the contest, and an alternate will be chosen.

C. The prizes will be distributed 4-6 weeks after the required documents are received (the required documentation will be provided to the finalists).

D. Ngage New Mexico and the Children’s Museum Committee distributes the prizes and reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event any prize cannot be awarded as stated. Prizes are non-transferable and may be subject to IRS tax reporting.

Contest Timeline
October 7th – launch online naming contest platform – collecting name submission
October 21st – Close online naming contest platform – last day for name submission
October 21st – November 3rd – Museum Committee reviews submission
November 4th – Open popular vote platform
November 18th – Close popular vote platform
November 18th – December 2nd – Museum Committee Finalizes name selection
December 10th – Public Announcement of winner and name

General Terms and Conditions
1. Ngage New Mexico and the Children’s Museum Committee reserves the right to cancel the Help Name Our App! contest for any reason at any time during the contest duration.
2. Ngage New Mexico and the Children’s Museum Committee reserve the right to amend these rules and policies at any time and without notice. Any changes will be posted online on this page.
3. Winners of any prize are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes.
4. Each individual agrees that Ngage New Mexico and the Children’s Museum and their respective affiliates, employees, or funding agency shall not be responsible or liable for damages or losses of any kind arising out of or resulting from an entry in this contest, acceptance or use of a prize or any other matter related to the contest, including, without limitation, claims based on property damage, personal injury and/or death, publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy.
5. By entering the Mobile Children’s Museum Naming Contest, each individual agrees to abide by and are bound by all decisions from Ngage New Mexico and the Children’s Museum Committee relating to the determination winners.
