LA CASA
La Casa provides domestic violence education, outreach and prevention efforts to Doña Ana County. Services include emergency shelter/transitional housing, counseling for children and adults, and mentoring for fathers and children. NEW MEXICO YOUTH SUICIDE PREVENTION PROGRAM
This program, funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, provides resources for educators and administrators and offers a free one hour course for middle school and high school educators to recognize warning signs and assist students in distress
CRISIS ASSISTANCE LISTENING LINE (CALL)
Provides free, confidential and compassionate service to anyone in need of emotional support, crisis intervention and referrals regardless of sex, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion or national origin. Guides individuals towards resources that may be able to help: 1-866-314-6841
LA PIÑON’S KIDTALK WARMLINE
If a child needs someone to speak to about problems at home or at school and wishes to remain anonymous they can call or text La Piñon’s KIDTALK Warmline at (575)636-3636 or they can email KIDTALK at kidtalk@lapinon.org. This service provides children with resources in the community and empowers them to seek help in difficult situations.
